Eavestroughs

Eavestroughs

SERVICE OVERVIEW

An eavestrough or rain gutter is a narrow channel or trough which collects and diverts rainwater shed by the roof. The main purpose is to protect a building’s foundation by channeling water away from its base to prevent water seepage through the foundation walls. The gutter also helps to reduce erosion, prevents leaks in basements, and protects paint or stained surfaces by reducing exposure to water. The water is collected by the eavestrough and fed down a downspout from the roof edge to the base of the home where it is either discharged or collected for later use.
